I find that if you let your life depend on something physical, it can only cripple you...you shouldn't live your life around something...now, obviously when it comes to work, you do have to organize around that b/c it's how you survive...but you need to have "you time" in which you don't depend on your cellphone to make you feel complete or fulfilled...cellphones can make your life easier and we always look for the easy way out...but we never grow from easy experiences, it's the tough ones that help us mature...anyway, my point is people have lived without them before, so it is possible...and by always having your cellphone with you, you're not allowing for "you time".

I still remember my own number, my house, my office, my hubby and my parents number. So if I don't bring cell phone, I still can contact some people. Well... even I depend on the cell phone, but not making me rely on cell phone memories, actually we must have another data storage, so if the cell phone are loss, we still can use it as a second data.

Todays worlds is becoming global and the basic needs are increasing they are food, shelter, clothing, and cell,so every person has a cell. And the persons like who are having cell are most of our friends so to remember all the cell no is very difficult so we need to remember only the imp no of our closely persons and due to work tensions human beings don't remember cell no so we should not be rude t that person .And be polite with him

Yes, I can survive without my cell, sometimes I'm without my phone and I don't miss it, I don't use it a lot, just when I really need it, but I like to know people can contact me, that's why I use it. I think people get too connected to their phones, they send lots of messages... some of my friends can't live without their phone, I wouldn't like to feel that about a phone.

Last year I still don't have Cell phone. Sometimes I feel difficult when I need to call someone or my friends. I start to imagine how If I have a cell phone. Then, now I have cell phone. I feel comfort when I use it not to call my friends but I use it to browse Internet and it makes my balance empty.

Not only I can, I am doing it right now. My old cell phone stopped working a while ago and I haven't replaced it yet. I find the cell phone a nice thing to have. It helped me out a few times, when I was waiting for hubby to pick me up outside my school at night but I don't think it's one of those things that we can't live without. There are always public phones around if I really need to make a phone call, and anyone wanting to talk to me can wait until I get home.

YES! definitely I 'll survive..can I not breathe without a cellphone? can I not eat without a cellphone-Having cellphone doesn't add up even a single moment in my life.I don't really believe when people say they can't live without cellphone. It's necessary I admit specially in business and at work and life would somehow be different without it but still anyone can survive. I used to say that too but of course that's an exageration.I know I can go on without it and life will still be beautiful.

i don't think its true.we can survive even without it.i think man has developed technologies to make his life easier n save time in his fast life.but that doesn't mean he will become the slave of his own invention n depend on it so much that without it he can't survive. in the early days these technologies were not there but still people were living their lives happily.so we can't say that we can't survive without a cellphone.without it also we can manage.

I believe i can do without a cell phone but with the rates these days i find it very important to have one. I have a wife and children so if we break down in our car or have type of emergency the phone phone is great. I am on a 1000 minute plan and have never once went over my minutes or even close to it.

i think i could live without a cellphone but it would really be hard without it. cellphones are really useful. its not only for communication purpose but it also offers many features such as organizer, gprs or wap, and games. it helps people to simplify their lives whether it was for work or just for socialization. and it's handy. you can carry it everywhere and use it whenever you like. so it would really be hard withour a cellphone.

Yes I can survive without a cell phone. Actually I do. I don't have one. I don't have the need for one and can't understand why some people feel the need to be attached to a phone every waking moment. If I'm not at home they can leave a message and I'll call them back when I want to. If they can't bother to leave a message then it can't be that important in my opinion. It's not like I'm in a job where they need to be able to get a hold of me at all hours. So why would I need one? My answering machine works.

I don’t think I can survive without a cell phone. I use it all the time to call my husband, my mom, my friends and everybody. I feel like something is missing if I don’t have my phone with me. I would even go back to the house if I left it even if it means I might be late for work.

Right now, that it's a need as means of communication, I'd need my mobile phone everyday with me. Like, for our meetings and team building at work, our Team Leader would just contact and call us so it's really necessary that each one should have a mobile phone. On the other hand, it's always my way of communication to my partner who'd have her due for her first baby now.So, for me, it's really a need.

Cell phones are a convenience, not a basic need. We got along fine without them for decades. I have one, in the last 2 weeks I've used 3 minutes. All of which was on the road. In fact, it's the only reason i got one. They are the most over used piece of technology out there as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't believe it the first time i saw someone in Walmart using one to talk to someone over in the next isle. And don't even get me started on talking while driving, a serious pet peve of mine.

I don't have cell phone and I still survive :). But I agree cell phone could be more convinient for regular communication for people. Just I'd rather to keep home phone if I can only afford one.
