I feel that men always knows 2 things:: 1)earning a penny demands hard working like horse pulling a cart for 5 miles. 2)And earning a heart of girl needs 1000 times to that of the first one. He is indeed intelligent that he kneels down to the everest which he knows he can't win..and he proposes.

Yes its true that men propose more than women.There are many reasons. 1)Girls used to be shy by nature. 2)Sometimes men are very eager to establish relationship with beautiful women. 3)Men do not want to miss the chance.They want to be first. 4)Men have big heart to do that. 5)It is ancient tradition that men proposed. 6)Women know that some body will propose.They also indulge that this is the task of men. What you say?

It is a Males Customs to propose women. Even in animals kingdom males fight for more than 24 hours to get a female. Moreover girls are shy to propose and scared of getting rejected.
