To be successful in life, one should decide the limits, that he/she can reach. If your goals are too high and if you are not able to reach your destination, the results are disastrous.Failure for once makes the path more difficult. Is'nt it?

it would depend as to how you look at your goals. if you look at goals as barriers and obstacles to your goals, it would definitely decrease one's self confiedence. but once you look at it as challenges and opportunities to improve, it would boost up one's confidence, though setting this mind set is kinda tough. the more you try to hold on and go on, the harder things may seem

Thanks for your response, but I believe in setting smaller goals, achieve them, and then climb higher.

Yes most of the people set a high goal to achieve and at last droped down with no result. We should start from bottom and try to achieve that goal and after finishing first task, jump over to another one. Over jump is always dangerous and once failue starts, it takes lot of time to cover up. So avoid failure in life. Set small goal, attend it and atain it. Then set another higher goal and so on. Small achievement makes us strong and gives enough courage to face new goal and achieve.
