in chinese, the cobra means snake with glass,
But there is a question in it: before the glass appeared,what the cobra was called by the chinese?

snake.we still call it a snake.
i have a question,coz i am not sure i quite follow you.:)is that a joke?now i think i have lost my sense of humor if you tell me yes.
by the way,i looked in the dictionary then i know what a cobra is,a poisonous african snake that can spread the skin of its neck to make itself look bigger.
