How did you grow your AVON business?

I have been an AVON representative for over a year now and I am still only selling to a few people. I have bought lots of brochures when I first started out and was handing them out to people and leaving them places but I never managed to get any orders that way. I don't have a lot of extra time to grow my AVON business but I find myself ordering something for myself every campaign only so that I remain a representative and I ended up spending at least $50-100 a month without making much. My husband either wants me to get more customers or drop the business. I love the AVON products and I'd hate to not be able to get the discounts, so I was wondering if anyone can tell me some quick, easy ways to get more customers and grow the business. Thanks!
