Senile Dementia or A glass too many - I think my Mum has finally lost the plot

Don't get me wrong, I love my Mum to bits and would do anything for her. However, she has phoned me three times today, each time asking me to fetch my brother from school. Ok, sounds a perfectly reasonable request doesn't it, except that I am 55 years old and my brother is 51 - LOL she said she had had some visitors over and she had had a couple of glasses of wine, which probably explains the phone calls. However, do you think this is the onset of a more serious problem? I'm not sure.
