Please do NOT recommend it!

Thumbs Down - thumbs down, I think, is the universal sign of disapproval.

is it recognized the same in your country? or is it more likely to hear a resounding Booooooooooo!

We are frequently asking, and replying to topics of "What's your favorite" I am going to ask something a little different now....what movie would you be least likely to recommend for someone to watch? What is not even worth the rental fee?

Maybe it's just because I'm getting old, but the movies that I really disliked... Talledega Nights RV Little Miss Sunshine and The Departed. All moved really slowly, and I couldn't finish any of them. The Departed was just so full of foul language that it was just hard to follow the story... it was F this and F that.

oh I hate when movies do that, is the writer's vocabulary so limited, or do they figure the audiences' is. I was shocked when I rented Forest Gump a while back, as I did not remember it from when we saw it at the theatre, but there was an awful lot of F'in in that movie too. : /

Ack! I know it has been a few years but I am not over the trauma so I have to throw it out there. "The Hulk". Oh man, if I could get those horrid hours of my life back........ Basically I saw it as an eternity of bouncing green cheesey graphics with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I have two movies that come to mind, one is Borat and the other is Bad Santa. Both terrible movies. Borat was such a disappoinment to us. Way over rated. While I love Billy Bob Thornton, I hated this movie Bad Santa. This is a very good discussion.

Thank-you, Applsofgld, for the non recommendations! Borat so far is the most popular unpopular movie with a rating of -2 out of 5 responses!

There are so many, I wouldn't know where to start...lol. I absolutely HATED Borat. I just watched The Good Shepherd, and that was pretty boring as well. I would save my time on a lot of movies Lost In Translation, Napoleon Dynamite, The Wicker Man (the new version) The Descent...and many many more...lol

yeah, what little preview or interview I have seen regarding Borat has told me not to bother with it. BORat = BORing, huh?

thank you for responding, what was there about it that left you wishing you hadn't watched it? was it the acting, the premise, the ending, was the climax weak? was the humor too dry, was the story line too dragged out and slow?

Hostel. It was very boring and had a bad ending. Miami Vice was ok but it had a bad ending. Wouldn't watch it again. But I rarely watch movies twice unless it's really good. There are so many and I can't even think of anymore. Will add to list if I think of anymore.
