i had this line-up once PG-steve nash SG-jason kapono SF-peja stojakovic PF-kenyon martin C-amare stoudemire i had an 82-0 record. nash finished averaging 18 assists per game while stojakovic and kapono ended up in the top 10 of the three point shooting percentage. it would also be so fun to watch kenyon martin and amare stoudemire catching those alley-oops or getting passes from steve nash for wide open thunderous dunks

I like this line-up. You have players who could threaten from long-range and big men to work the inside. You have a strong defensive player in Amare, as well, and since there has been less emphasis on posting up in NBA Live 07, his team-up with Kenyon Martin allows from some great inside plays, just as you have described. That's well and good, but what I really like about this lineup is the fact that it's a running team, and I'm pretty sure you've racked up a lot of points with this roster. You have, haven't you?

Speaking of Peja Stojakovic, I wonder how they'll rate him for NBA Live 08. He's been virtually non-existent this season since his injury, and for very obvious reasons the New Orleans Hornets sorely missed him all throughout their campaign.

I would prefer my best five players were: G-Steve Nash G-Dwayne Wade F-Lebron James F-Tim Duncan C-Shaquille O'Neal It would result to the best record: 74-8

yes i also agree... i think the best point guard for that kind of line up would be chauncy billups or deron williams, chauncy is very good at setting up half court plays while nash strength is running the floor.

let duncan and shaq do the rebounding and wade and james take the nash alley-oop passes. these guys are great finishers

With the speed of play Nash is capable of, I'm pretty sure Shaq and Duncan wouldn't make it in time to the other end of the floor. I'd still say he should get a faster center and power forward. I've been keeping Amare at my team's center position and his speed has been very useful on fast-break plays off defensive rebounds as he can outrun all of his defenders and finish off plays without any competition. Shaq and Duncan are slowpokes who'll just lag behind every play Nash could potentially make, and it'll end up with only Wade and James waiting for the ball on the other end of the court. That'll work and produce points for your team, but you'll just be wasting Shaq and Duncan's high ratings if they can't keep up with the other three starters.

i use the new jersey nets, and just did a little rebuilding... i just added ben wallace for defensive and rebounding purposes, kyle korver as a backup for richard jefferson and vince carter, i also add pj brown for defending post player's and as a backup for nenad krstic and ben wallace. my starting five: C-Ben Wallace PF-Nenad Krstic SF-Richard Jefferson SG-Vince Carter PG-Jason Kidd reserves: PF/C-Josh Boone PF/C-PJ Brown PF/C-Mikki Moore PG-Marcus Williams SG/SF-Kyle Korver SG/SF-Antoine Wright SG/PG-Eddie House im also thinking to trade krstic and jefferson for pau gasol to give my team a post threat or jefferson for gerald wallace for added defense

If you're still on your first season in your dynasty, I'd suggest you get LaMarcus Aldridge or Andrea Bargnani (maybe plus another player) - depending on whether you want a bit of force on both ends of the court or a soft offensive touch around the rim - for Nenad Krstic. That would give you a great Rookie of the Year candidate. I just don't think Marcus Williams should deserve the award, even if you play him well in the course of the season. Maybe I just don't like him.

Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Caron Butler, Kobe Bryant, and Kirk Hinrich. My bench players (because it usually takes *more* than five): Chauncey Billups, Emeka Okafor, Andrea Bargnani, LaMarcus Aldridge, Ben Gordon, Tayshaun Prince. My record? 82-0.

That's a great lineup, but I'd rather have Dennis Rodman on my team than Horace Grant. I wonder what his team chemistry rating would be when compared to the rest of his team.
