Do you wash your hands after using the bathroom??

To think of not washing hands after using washroom is something impossible and really disgusting for me. I use every opporutnity to wash my hands and that too with soap. if i have touched something with or even without dirt and then i need to touch anything specially in kitchen or i feel like touching my wife or child, i won't do it unless i first wash my hands with soap. It really make me sick to see people who are not in habbit of washing hands properly. at my university, many colleagues come out of washroom without washing hands and if they happen to meet me nearby they just extend their hand for a hand shake, i do shake hands in order not to let them feel disrespect but i won't sit or do anything else unless i have first washed my hands after the hand shake. It's not just psuchological, people should feel that it's beter for their own health and well being. most of the germs are transfered through use of hands as they are the most commonly used part of our body in everything we do, so it's really important to keep them as clean and safe from germs as possible.

Oh well... I usually wash my hand after using bathroom. If I have to play bowling like your friend, I almost never eat directly with my hands, I use spoon. Or if I have to use my hand of course I must wash the hand first. Bowling alley full of powder and oil ;))

I wash my hands all the time and I am constantly using hand sanitizers! I think it is so gross too when I see women use the bathroom fix their hair and make up and leave. Wash your hands please!!

I am an avid had washer, I am always washing my hands after just about everyting. I had the thought of some germs from something or someone else, especially if I am going to handle food and eat it, Im a finntic about that. I dont even handle the sink fauchets in public without a paper towel, never with my bare hands.

If I'm at a public place, I wash my hands BEFORE I use the bathroom AND after. Whatever I have touched going in and around wherever I am, does not need to follow me to very private places where being clean is important. : ) And then of course, when I am done using the bathroom, I wash my hands again. If the place doesn't look very clean to touch, I won't wash my hands, I'll use hand sanitizer. It's better than nothing.

I always wash my hands and my husband is obsessive about it. He will point out men who walked out of the bathroom without washing their hands. We laugh sometimes because they go and sit down and pick up their food and eat it and hug their wifes/girlfriends. It is a nasty thing. I can't believe your friend will eat and lick her fingers and no wash her hands. A bowling alley is a germ feast and not to wash your hands is just plain gross!

I always wash my hands. That's so gross! Those people go out and touch things that other people touch and it spreads germs. That's disgusting!

Ick! I definitely wash my hands every time I go to the bathroom. I sometimes just stop in the bathroom occasionally throughout the day just to wash my hands randomly cause of all the gross things I come in contact with throughout the day and don't even realize it. I always wash my hands right before before eating anything too, cause even just the thought of touching door handles and then touching my food grosses me out cause you never know who had their hands all over the handle and didn't wash them after going to the bathroom! yuck!

I agree with you, I have never understood why people don't wash their hands! I do the full thing usually too, using soap and washing for at least 30 seconds. It's just an automatic thing for me, I'd actually feel dirty if I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom.

Yes, of course! If you don'tw ash your hands after going to the loo you're opening yourself up to catching all sort of stuff, like e-coli (or however you spell it) and such like. I don't know why people wouldn't wash their hands, becuause they're sruffy sods maybe?

I've seen some very well-dressed women who not only don't wash their hands, but they fix their hair and make-up after using the toilet. Apparently they're more concerned about how they look than they are about hygiene. After using a public rest room, after washing and drying your hands, you should not touch the door knob, but just push the door open with your elbow or use a paper towel, because of the high probability that someone has not washed their hands.

I wash my hands, not all the time but when I think it's necessary. After going to the bathroom, after eating sometimes with my hands sometimes I wash my hands, others I just clean them with a napkin. Sometimes people don't feel it's necessary to wash their hands, it's up to them but yes, I think we should wash our hands.

yes, i do wash my hands after using the bathroom ven if i didnt really pee, even if i just powdered my nose. you know why? even the doorknobs of the bathroom is dirty so we have to be sanitized all the time, we dont know who touched that and what germs are in it. :) cleanliness is the best policy. :)
