Hey! How many of you out there remember the days way back in the late 80's/early 90's when headbangers ball was like the best thing ever on MTV? I MISS it so much. What was your favorite part about headbangers ball? I used to love when they would have the bands host for an hour. For instance there was a time when Iron Maiden was hosting because they were promoting a new album and tour. I still have recorded stuff on video tape from back then! I don't have MTV 2, so I don't get the newest shows. Not sure if they are even any good these days? Do you have any great memories of headbangers ball? Lets discuss, and go down memory lane:-) Feel free to contribute anything to this post. All about headbangers ball!

Yeah I use to like to watch it myself years ago. Iron Maiden had some great songs. I also remember when Metellica came out with their Black album in the early 90's.

Hello! MTV started broadcasting in Italy in 1995, I remember watching or recording Headbangers Ball on thursday night at 1 a.m. Blonde beauty Vanessa was hosting the transmission and I remember videos by Machinehead, Pantera, Skid Row. It was the time crossover started becoming popular, so there was no classic metal but all those strange and extreme subgenres. Shame it was stopped. I remember a trasmission about Alice In Chains too.
