what do you think is your realtionship with God

I had a very very close relationship with God, and I was an active member of the chruch and use to hang around with good godly people that made me feel always motivated and felt good about my self.
But now I cant do anything in the chruch nor can I be useful no body is accepting me. so I feel I am going away from my God.

I wouldn't call him/her a drinking buddy, more like a stern parent that is always there for me when I need him/her. Perhaps that's the "wrong" way to look at it, but I cannot help how I feel.

My relationship with God is very private and individual. I believe in him and I believe that he knows good people from bad. I am not convinced he thinks you have to attend church to be good or that you have to believe in organized religion at all. I am close to God in my own way and that is enough for me. Good Topic !
