Try http://www.discoverabook.com/ this is a new site established for new and wanna be authors. They let you load your book to the site and then allow people to buy it as an ebook, you get paid for each download and if it is being downloaded heaps they will help you find a publisher. Take a look at the site, it may be just what you are looking for.

I dont want to take the chace of anyone taking my book and making money off of it. Do you know a site that will let you do this with music too.Let me know thanks

Don't know about music, you creative person you. I'm not sure about anyone stealing your books, you obviously need to put copyright statement somewhere and you need to check out the terms and conditions of the site. Good luck.

Why not print on demand? Lulu.com lets you publish and sell print on demand books. I have not published with them myself, but I know a lot of writers who have.

My daughter has a book published at Lulu.com and she is 14. Did it all herself. We are finalizing it to get it released and she has readers waiting for it. It is a good site and they are easy to use. I wish you much luck with your book!

I administrate a writing community todays-woman.net and a few of my members have had a lot of success with publishing through lulu. With self publishing or pod publishing you do all the leg work.

I have been publishing at lulu.com I am a translator of the Word of God from Greek to English. I have already published GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English), THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), ELEMENTS of SALVATION, The Right Way, GOD, ORIGIN, TRANSFER into PERFECTION, GREEK-ENGLISH (Grammar & Vocabulary), WORDS in THE WILL New Testament, and others shown at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin I have published one e-book. I have not spent even a single cent in publishing these. There are no set up fees. Authors are not even required to buy even a single copy of their books. In fact I have not seen any copy of any of my books as I have no money and I don't even have any credit card. Lulu does not interfer with the content. Write anything you want too. Choose the size there, book cover, you're free to set your royalty, etc. Copyright is automatically included there. The instructions are easy to follow. I hope that you would be able to publish you books soon. May God bless you.

Why don't you self-publish ethansmommy. It takes some work on your part but you can cut out the middle man. Of course you have to also market the book but to publish it and get it out there to sell is simple and inexpensive. I can help you if you want to think about self-publishing, and I don't mean putting it on line. All you have to do is have a computer and a printer. Do it yourself and save a lot of money.
