I am a ceramic Engineer, so I would give you an overview regardng this matter. Ceramics are classified as inorganic and non metallic material that are essential to our daily lives.These are generally made by taking mixtures of clay, earthen elements, powders and water and shaping them into desired forms.Once it has been shaped, this will be fired to a high temperature oven known as kiln. So In general, most ceramics are hard, wear-resistant, brittle, refractory, thermal insulator and chemaically stable. So whats your overview with this topic?
