The image say it all, people will do, try, or say anything to avoid a ticket when they get pulled over. What have you personally tried or said to get out of a ticket? Did it work?

I got pulled over for speeding and I told the cop that I was pregnant and that I had to get to a restroom as soon as possible.I started giving his this long story about having twins and shaking my legs really fast. He brought it, but he did follow me. So I pulled up to the nearest gas station and went into the bathroom and once I came out he was there waiting on me. To make a long story short I did get out of a ticket, but only but the hair on my skin! Its funny now when I think about it.

Well it is not as much what I said, but more what I did not say that got me out of a speeding ticket. When I was home in my native country after my first year at college in the U.S., I actually used my blonde hair and my female charm to get out of the ticket. I never thought this would work in Denmark, as most of the female population are blonde, but it did and I never had to pay a dime. My younger brother, who was with me in the car at the time, was very impressed, when he saw how easy I got off. I think I came up with some lame excuse about being late for something, gave the officer a very innocent smile while apologizing, and that was about it.

I got caught speeding. THe cop pissed me off when he looked at my car and said he could see how a car like this could get away from a girl. I told the cop Dale Ernhardt was my uncle. He was a fan and fool believed me. No I still got the ticket. BUT, I went to court and cried and the Judge gave me traffic school and I got out of it.

I was pulled over about a year ago for speeding in a work zone...I swear I never saw the sign!!!! I had even been thinking...I am just going to take me time..I have all morning to get to where I need to go. I was going 60 in a 50 zone. I was surprized to see the lights and couldn't imagine why I was pulled over. So I moved to the shoulder and when the officer approached, I was in the midst of getting my license and car documentation out. As he stood at the window, I asked what did I do officer...when he told me about the work zone, my heart sank! IT is an automatic triple fine if you speed in a work zone in my state. He left to go back to his car and I sat in the front seat shaking like a leaf...what could this cost me $400, $500? By the time he got back I was in tears. He asked me if I was on my way to work, and I replied no, I am a volunteer for our local school and I am on my way to Sams to pick up some things at Sams for our teachers. The officer, smiled, handed me my license and said...I am going to give you a warning, keep your speed down. I was so thrilled that I thanked him and thanked him! On my way back, he was sitting in the same spot...I guess hoping to snag me again. This time I was going 45 and waved at him as I passed!
