What to do with my old PC

I bought my P111 computer for 50,000 rupees nearly 1000 dollars in the year 2000.I want to purchase a new computer.But,the resale value is very less.Is there any option to upgrade my old PC.

First thing first, is it still working? If your old computer is still working, I would suggest you keep it. Yes, keep it as a backup set. You will never know when your new one might break down. :/

Nope - this is o the vintage where you likely can not do anything useful to upgrade, only save as backup. Just too many generational changes in between... you probably predate AGP evenvand now it is on to dual core and PCIX.

hehehehe,,,,,,, i dont think PIII can handle all of my files nowadays i think PIII is still using 20GB or less of harddrive, there's nothing lift to upgrade PIII....

i think u may not change ur moniter or lcd. you can put the latest hardware. why dont u buy a new hard disk. now 160 gb hard disk is avalable in the market. install a new graphics and sound card. get your pc updated. if possible change to vista. u can change any part of ur pc like putting a new dual processor. but be sure what ever u do take the advice of a professional.

dude..it all depends upon your motherboard..and i don`t think it can bear all those modern pieces...you`ve got purchase a mother board too...and if you have one...grt...check your power supply too...coz modern pieces consume more power too...
