You know the one I'm talking about, like in cartoons whenever someone gets an idea, a lightbulb goes on above their head. Of course in real life, you wouldn't be able to see it physically go off, but ever looked at someone if they just got an idea, it's almost like you can see one go on. Or if you told a joke and someone didn't get it, and then you kept looking at them and then they finally got it, and then you could actually see it in their eyes that they are working it out in their head, and at the exact moment when they figure it out, 'ting', it's like a lightbulb just switched on over their head. Have you had light bulb moment like that or witnessed someone who had one?

As in the EUREKA! moment? Yes I have. Quite often... nah, often enough rather. It is neat when things suddenly fall into place... it's like, suddenly, ah ha! I got it! ;P

yup, the EUREKA moment. that's right, when the blocks of our mind come together to make perfect sense. Neuron transmissions- neuron to neuron, neuron to neuron, neuron to neuron, neuron to neuron, neuron to neuron, and then DING!!!!

yes I have had this kind of moment and seen it. I kind of find it amusing when I see it happen when someone is doing as you said delayed reaction to getting the joke. As for me, well I am sure that others can notice by the look on my face when it happens. unfortunately I am having a fuzzy headed day, so I tend to not get it today and so the lightbulb is not going off much.

That's okay, I have had some 'slow' days myself, I guess those are the days when the lightbulb fuses, it takes some time to come back on again.

a light on his head all the time? like a halo?ha ha, didn't know you actually kept track of your light bulb moments, two in the last week, I don't remember when my last light bulb moment was, when I do, then there'll be another light bulb moment on remembering the last light bulb moment, so that would become the last. Could this turn into a vicious cycle.,:/

A lightbulb moment, nice way to put it. I have seen people have these and had plenty of them myself. FOr me its usally when i remember something, i just stop for a second, and then rush off to do whatever it is that i just worked out i have to do. It sometimes happens when i have ideas too like in cartoons. I'll be like "you could do that or..." and then I think im about to hear a ding as somethings just come to mind, after that i usually just rabble my idea on :p I see it when i tell people jokes as well, they have some confused look and then... hahahahahaha. Ding, ding indeed!

Yeah, it's interesting when you have it, but it's even better when you witness it happening TO somebody. You can almost see the bulb light up, and if you have enough imagination you can completely picturise it.
