What freecycle do you belong to?

Hi everyone I am the owner/moderator of the PortSaintJohn_Freecycle group in Florida. We were started on Apirl 11, 2006 and have 135 members. I was wondering what freecycle group do you belong to? Tell me a little bit about your group. Are you just a member, a moderator, or a owner? When did your group get started? How many members does it have? To the owners/moderators out there would love to chat some more and exchange advice.

I am a member of a few freecycle sites here in Ireland. Due to the fact that many people here are reluctant to give stuff away for free, my wife and daughter set up a new site where people have the option of buying, selling, swapping, requesting or giving goods for free. There is also a chat forum on the site. I am a moderator on the site and my wife and daughter are the owners and administrators. We started the site last November and we now have 733 members and 613 postings.

Hi there,
I'm a member of 3 at the moment as I go back and forth from home and uni. At the moment, I am part of the StokeonTrent, Havering and London Freecycle communities and I think that they are pretty good. I have gotten a few bits already from them and they have been put to good use. I guess the saying 'one persons rubbish is anothers treasures' seem to be right after all.

It is really nice to meet you. Thank you for responding. I used to live in England when I was a kid. My dad was in the Air Force. We lived near Alconbury (not sure if I spelled that right). I think it was about an hour away by train. But I am not sure as I was only 8 years old when we moved back to the states.

I am not the moderator, but I belong to the WichitaFalls_Freecycle group in Texas. We are great! So many people who help others. I have given a lot of stuff to a lot of people who needed it and I have received some stuff that I needed.

I am a member of 3.. NewSmyrnaBeach Freecyle, DaytonaBeach Freecycle, and Port Orange Freecycle all located in Central Florida
