Has anyone else had lasting unwanted side affects?

I was on a few different antidepressants over a few years and the last type I was on seemed to completely take away any libido, this was the same for almost a year after stopping (and was the reason I stopped taking those) and took a further year or two to come back to normal. Has anyone else had any effects like this that carried on after stopping the drug itself?

Well they have more side effects causing weight gain and skin problems too.

I've been on many anti-depressants, I've experienced that, but only while I was on it. As far as your libido, if you're a woman, you may want to consider your age and whether or not you may be going through menapause.
If you still need to be on an anti-depressant, you may want to consider wellbutrin, I've been on it for quite a few years and decreased libido is one of the side effects IT DOES NOT HAVE.

i haven't-but my mother was prescribed walbutin (sp?) and now has permanent seizure risk.they said she signed a consent form,but i do not believe it.
even if she had,they had no business having someone sign something when they didn't have the mental comprehension to understand it.
