Vegetarian is a smart choice

I have been back and forth on this topic for many of years. And then i watched one video that changed my thinking about eating meat. I truely think being a Vegetarian is a compassionate way of living and also very healthy. My skin is glowing, i'm losing weight and i feel great about not eating other living creatures. You should think about it. Seriously, all you meat eaters out there that wish they had the will power to become a vegetarian, you all should research video's on what your really eating, and how animals are raised for food and killed. Farms are not huge open fields with big red barns anymore. They are factories that house animals upon animals. Depriving them of the basics. What do you think about this?

it may be humane to be vegetarian, but there is nothing better than getting stuck into a real burger or hotdog. My uncle is a vegetarian and when we have christmas lunch, usually turkey, he sits down and has a vegeatrian microwavable meal, it is really sad.

Actually, I think it's great that your Uncle took a stand for what he believes in. If more people do what he is doing. The world might become a more compassionate place.

Well said Jenn. There is no reason why vegetarians can't have better food than meat eaters. Just take a look at my website full of cruelty free recipes to see what I mean: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk

Well done for choosing a way of life that makes you feel happier and healthier. I hope you manage to persuade some meat eaters that it is a good way to be as well. I am often laughted at for my 'extreme' beliefs but at least I can be happy knowing that I have a clear conscience and no animals are hurt in order that I can live.

I agree with you. And i don't think God created animals to be eaten and abused. People who think like this need a reality check :)

Hmm, when you think like this it is not your fault, in my opinion it's was a waste is you don't eat meat because human body not like othe animal that onlt eat plant, human body can eat both meat and vegetery, because our body has all enzime to process al these thing, so if god made us like this so use it. Yeah i agree that if you eat to much animal it's will bring a lot of problem to our body, so why you need to eat so many animal meat, just eat properly, make it's balance between meat and vegetary. Lastly is i would like to say is use all what you body can do, because it is award from God, dont denied god award, thanks to God because give human abality to eat meat and not just eat vegetary. If we don't use it what a waste.

So God created the animals so we can abuse them, do testing on them, torture them and eat them? I don't think a loving caring God would encourage that at all. My idea of God is someone who doesn't inflict pain or suffering on anyone or anything and wants us to be the same.
