Hi all...I have a question. Is anyone familar with non custodual parental rights. I am asking because I know a wonderful father who is not getting fair treatment from the justice system regarding this issue. What can I suggest he do..What rights does he have if the custodal parent doesn't follow court orders....Thanks.

He really needs to find himself a good lawyer. Too often the mother is given control over the children and really it shouldn't be that way. I know many fathers who would be better at parenting than the mother. We really need to revamp the system.

he has hired at least 3 lawyers and no of them have faught the way they should for him..i agree with u some mothers out there do take control of the system and the system does need to change to work in favor of fathers wanting to take care of there children....

It is frustrating to know that so many judges are still from the old school of thinking.

my thoughts exactly....my friend told me and showed me where in his court documents that the judge miscalculated his child support payments and put the wrong figures down on the order..so when he had his attorney appeal for the correction the judge overlooked it. not to mention that when they go to court the mother always quits her job to show that she has no income....how crazy is that....

He would need to take the mother back to court and prove that she isn't folowing the original court order. He will need to keep track of everything that she isn't doing-dates and all-for everythng that she isn't following in the court order.

hi michelle..he has taken her to court at least 4 times four violating the court order and the woman was only let off with a warning...also to mention each time they returned to court the judge didn't review the case and mixed up both parties....he has even shown proof the the childs mother has keep his son from going to school off and on threw the year in order for him not to pick his son up from school...
