My friend who works in a private organisation making sufficient income to run the family divoriced by ex-wife after 13 years marriage since she is holding a good position in reputed bank. They have a daughter who was looked after by my friend. His ex-wife never married but maintained few BF. When she become recently sick neither BFs nor family members came to help her during the illness; she telephoned my friend for help. He refused. I requested him to help her on humanitarian ground but he firmly refused. Daughter has no interested mother's life. Under the circumstances ex-husband should help her or not. My feeling is he should help her. What is your opinion.

I believe that would depend on what caused the breakup and how there relationship has been since than Seems strange no one will help her, maby she is a bad person? As far as having a daughter and being a Father now thats a different story. maby the daughter dosnt have any intrest in the mother but she is still her mother and I think someone be it the daughter or the dad should have a least looked into see how she was at least from a humanitarian standpoint.

I dont see why he would have to help her. Their life together is over and he has no responsibility towards her.
