In her new book, "The Feminine Mistake," Leslie Bennetts argues that depending on a spouse for financial support can be very risky for a woman. She notes that a range of factors (eg., divorce, husbands falling ill, losing their jobs, etc.)stack the economic odds against women. Further, she points out that it is very difficult for women to return to the workforce. Ageism, sexism and the mommy factor work against them. What are your thoughts? Have you experienced any of the aforementioned predicaments?
