Coffee & Brushing Teeth

I just got done brushing my teeth after having my coffee this morning and thought...
Do you wait to brush your teeth until after your done with the coffee for the morning? Or do you just brush your teeth first thing in the morning and have the coffee after?
I can't stand the way my teeth and tongue feel after coffee so I always wait until I am done with my coffe to brush my teeth.

I have to have my coffee first thing. LOL It is a waking up process.
If I went to brush my teeth first, I would not be held accountable for whatever mess I made. LOL
Besides that...I like to brush my teeth afterward too because coffee stains.
I like my teeth white and do not have to worry later about my teeth being stained.
So, I find it is better to brush my teeth after coffee to get rid of any coffee residue. :D

Hahaha! Great points.
I think that is right with any drink.
You don't want any residue making your teeth dirty, and with coffee it does stain your teeth if you do not brush them properly! :)

I do not drink coffee but if I did, I would brush my teeth after drinking coffee so I could get the smell out. I would probably have coffee later on and would brush again after having that cup. I do the same thing with hot chocolate. I always brush after having food and will not eat til later on in the day.

LOL...Be careful...I know someone that has alot of teeth problems because when she was younger - she brushed her teeth too much and actually srubbed enamel right off! I didn't think that was possible but apparently it is. :-)

Well, I do not have coffee in the morning.
But, if I were to have coffee in the morning, I would choose to brush my teeth after I have had coffee.
I don't like brush my teeth until after I am done eating or drinking...besides water.
I also can't stand the way my teeth feel or how my mouth has a funny taste. :)

I brush as soon as I get up but it would make more sense to drink my soda (I don't do coffee) and THEN brush! LOL I just cannot stand to be unbrushed.

I get up out of bed and go straight to the potty and secondly brush my teeth. I HATE the way my mouth feels and tastes in the morning. This is the one of the first things I do. I don't drink coffee every day, but when I do, I will brush my teeth again after drinking it. LOL

I wouldn't be able to brush my teeth if I didn't have my coffee first. LOL I drink lots of coffee (too much) and brush several times a day. Still get coffee stains. Love those whitening strips!

I always brush after my coffee!! I would hate to take a drink of my coffee and still taste the minty toothpaste...icky!! So I drink my two cups of coffee and then brush my teeth with my kids =)

I, like you, brush my teeth after have my coffee. I don't use sugar or what have you so my coffee is bitter and I wouldn't be able to stand having that taste in my mouth all day! Plus, it stains, and I try to look after my teeth!
