Do you watch these shows? I'm not sure where they air, but they are shown on different channels in America. I used to be consumed by them when I was pregnant. I had to stop watching Birth Day, they had a lot of sad and scary births. But now I have a hard time watching them now that I have my child. I know it's stupid to get emotionally involved in a show like that, but there's always a meddling grandma slipping formula to a breastfed baby, inductions that aren't medically necessary, etc. But I do find humor in some of it, like the parents that bring home a newborn and say "oh he's going to sleep through the night and we'll get some rest" or the mother who says "breastfeeding is going to be soooo easy". So how about you? What do you think of these shows? Would you ever be in one?

I would never consider being on any of these shows as to me it is all about your personal life and I like having my life quiet :) I watched all these shows each and everytime I was pregnant and would for a little while after my children were born but always got out of them as my baby's got older . I do find them interesting to watch and like you said , some of them are funny but some are such sad cases that it is really hard not to be upset for the person who lost their child that they waited so long to see or the couple who bring home a sick child .

I think that one was the Birth Day show, it's pretty graphic!
