I took this picture from my neighborhood and don't know name of this flower.

It is a member of the Allium genus. Onions and garlic are also members of this family.

It looks sort of like the flower on a chives or an onion plant but it's a little early in the year for that. I know it looks familiar but I can't really place it. Sorry. :(
