Are you a neat freak? How neat freak are you?

I used to organize my closet according to the length of the sleeves.. So, tank tops, no sleeve shirts, short-sleeve shirts, etc... I know that people go with color to organize their closets sometimes... But hear this... My guy friend organized his writing tools in the drawer according to the color of each pen/highlighter/etc, and (!!!) they are organized by the size of the tip of each item... I was speechless.. Hahaha... At least with pens I just jumbled them all together in a mug... LOL..
I used to bleach my bathroom regularly, and my friends were 'bothered' by that fact.. Haha.. I mean, bathrooms are supposed to be clean, right?! I can't stand dirty bathrooms.. But my other friend was crazier.. She bleached her apartment walls regularly... I was like, who does that.. Haha.. =)
So, have people jumped when you tell them how you organize or clean your stuff? How neat freak are you? =)

Actually..once again it depends lol.
If I'm upset, I'll find myself obsessed with cleaning and organizing everything in the house..from spices, shampoos..to my closet. Other times the mood will strike me too..but other than that, I'm not that much of a neat freak. I like keeping things fairly clean, but if I were ever to have my own house..and someone were to visit. They'd probably see my jacket lying on the couch, near the floor..with notes and various books scattered througout the house.

Eh..next best thing to it, I s'pose. I expend some of the energy which fuels the emotion..depending how hard I'm cleaning (which then depends on how upset I am). It's hard to stay very upset when you've exhausted yourself, and it can interefere with those clear thoughts which make the emotions worse. So I mostly clean to get the edge off of it, but the upsettness is still the same level..and being tired, I usually will fall asleep shortly thereafter. And after the rest..THEN I feel better lol.

I have seen several movies where the actor cleans because he or she is upset, but I never knew anybody who does it in real life.. =) I guess that it is interesting...at least for me... Does cleaning calm you down when you're upset?

Gotcha.. Haha.. Hey, I think it's a great idea... Instead of using the anger to hurt other ourselves or other people, we use the energy to clean... LOL... And when you wake up after all of the emotions and all the cleaning, you find your home cleaner, too...which makes you even happier... What a wonderful way to transfer the negative energy.. Hahaha... Way to go, xParanoiax! =D

I have to admit that I am a neat freak too. I cannot see things at home being scattered all over the place especially my children's toys. I would pick them up countless of times just to ensure that my house is cluttered free. However, I do segregate a play zone for the children where their toys can be all over the place but they need to clear them up after play... Terrible isn't it... I also arrange my clothes in such a way that it is in accordance to the length of the sleeves. I even iron my jeans..lol... Oh well...can't help it!! :

i am somewhat on a neat freak I do orangized all my clothes, makeup, office supplies and things like that. Each thing has its own container or drawer. I do bleach my bathroom and walls regularly because we smoke in the house so I like the walls to be clean. I am constantly wiping down cabinets and countertops. So I might be more of a clean freak then I thought

I used to be very organised. Even now I am not too bad. But I don't go as far as you used to, or your friend.
I don't care about the length of sleeves in my cupbaord or matching up clothes pegs.
I do hang shirts together, & jeans together, etc. My undies are seperated from my socks.
Your friend sounds like he has obsessive compulsive syndrome.

I must admit that he did have suffered from the syndrome.. And it used to be really bad.. I think from where he came from to know how he is today, it was just an amazing transformation... I'm so happy for him.. To me, he's just a neat freak now.. =) By the way, thanks for your response, jennybianca! =)
