Name a hobby that you started, but gave up. When I was a teen I started knitting, but I gave it up because I just could not get the hang of it.

Hello! When I was pregnant with my first son my mom got me this cross stitch thing to make for his room. Um yeah, that ended up throw out because I did so badly. Then she got me another one to try again (ahhh!) so I tried again and failed miserably. Cross stitching was not for me, so it seemed, and I never did it again.

I used to enjoy doing ceramics very much. I made many pretty seasonal pieces and some everyday pieces. My husband lost his teaching job due to budget cuts and lack of tenure so we ended up moving to another state (our previous state also had a freeze on hiring in the education system). Anyway, we are now in a very small town and there are no craft stores, (no stores of any kind except a darn walmart!) and no place for me to buy the greenware. There is no way to continue my hobby at present! I also used to enjoy cross stitch, and of course I could buy those supplies online if needed. But I really do not have the time with my fulltime job, house and two teens! Ha!

Hi There! I started crocheting when I was a teenager. I made several afghans for myself and a few for other people but the yarn got to be more expensive and I had other things going on too so I gave it up eventually.

If I could remember how to do it I would be glad to make you one hon. I honestly don't know if I could remember anymore. But it would a lot of fun to try sometime.:)

I just started to learn how to knit lol, it is hard to get the hang of it. I use to do counted cross stitch until a few years ago. I loved doing it but now I never seem to have the time and if I do, I have trouble counting all the little squares now lol. I also started making greeting cards a few years ago. My mom set me up with about $250 worth of stuff to get started, other family members added to it so now I have about $1000 worth of stamping supplies sitting in my garage. But thanks to you Swt., I will be picking that hobbie up again and making cards for the sweet little one on the Hugs and Hope website.

I use to collect stamps. I still have the collection, but haven't touched it in 10 years or more. There is only so much time, and I just don't have time for it anymore.
