How can I make my computer faster??

The only thing I do and it helps is every couple of weeks I defragment it. That will get rid of old useless files.

you can add more ram to make sure your system doesnt slow down. also, defragment your computer every month so that the files on your hard drive are not in fragments and they are together so you can access them faster. when i defragmented my computer for the first time, it made a big difference in how fast i could open files on my hard drive. also, i recommend you download crap cleaner. it can free up a lot of space on your computer by deleting files that you dont use or dont need anymore.

I think you need to upgrade your processor - or if you wanna keep things cheap - try saving all your computer info to disk, & then find the restore disks for your computer - put them in & let the computer go back to being bare like it was when you bought it. You'll need to re-download all the programs you want but it'll run well until you fill it up again! Or like i said, spend the money & upgrade or upgrade your processor - the new the processor, the faster it'll run. Hey, why not just sell off the computer you had & buy a new one - that'd be a last resort though! I'd go with a complete reboot with the restoration disks that should have come with the computer. That always does the trick for me!
