Do you have any Easter candy left?

The week is half finished. I still have half of my solid chocolate rabbit left. One year, I ate my whole rabbit all at once. I was so sick the next day. I went to work and had to leave before the day was out. I guess I learned my lesson.

I made my children take all their easter candy to their bedrooms and hide it. lol I know better than to have chocolate laying around or I would be in the same condition you were the year you ate the whole bunny. I tried to stock their baskets with non edible items too, so there is not so much temptation.

Yeah, it worked great until we realized the two year old was missing in action yesterday afternoon. We found her in her sister's easter basket gobbling chocolate as fast as she could. You can imagine the uproar. lol

The Easter basket I got from my best friend is 99.5% gone as she knows I like dark chocolate best so that is what was in it. Another friend gave me a half pound solid milk chocolate bunny and it is still sitting looking at me and I don't know what to do with it.! LOL

You could show it to another bunny and maybe they will create more bunnies.

My husband had real bunnies in the house here before I came to live here. He started out with two. We gave them away to a farm before I moved in because we needed the room. There were twenty three.

LOL you poor thing- My daughter still has a bunch left-- I help her eat it daily- But neither of us are big candy eaters- She has peeps still and egg shaped whoppers- Her Easter bunny that she got from great gram is in the freezer- That is where they all end up- I just don't have the heart to tell gram she doesn't like them! I buy her a small bunny each year-- but not the chocolate only kind- this year it was a krackel one-- and me the caramel one! Mine is gone- hers is still new!

I was thinking of breaking up the big chocolate I just found as left into pieces for cooking and make rocky road chocolate squares or brownies or something.

I just ate half a bunny. Yummy! Am I the only one who feels kind of bad eating their face? It just seems wrong somehow! And why does being shaped like a rabbit just seem to make chocolate taste better somehow?

If you eat from the top down at least their brain is gone so they don't suffer when you eat the rest.

Day after Easter I placed all the candy in small sandwich baggies. They all sit on the top of my workstation (desk) that way I know where it all is. Hey, if you have kids you know to keep an eye on it. half bag of malt balls (that was my fav...yum) 3 bags full of chocolate assortments basket full of jelly beans 10 small boxes of nerds 6 big chocolate bunnies in the fridge

I only got two eggs for Easter, one I've eaten but I've still got the two packets of maltesers that came with them. I got a big Belgian Chocolates Egg, I enjoyed the egg, it came with three small boxes of Belgian chocs, I opened one box and I found the chocs too sickly, so I haven't bothered opening the other two, I will save them and give them to my dad, he'll eat anything if it's chocolate LOL!

I didn't even get a white chocolate bunny this year. I kept hinting every time we went in the store. This is what happens when you're the only woman in the house.

I haven't bought any, because I don't have children. I think I will buy some though, since it'll all be on sale at the mall when I go. Why pay big money for candy before the holiday when you can get it on sale after? I like getting discounts on things I like, and I do a good thing for the store, by helping them sell out their stock.

You shouldn't miss out just because you have no kids. Everyone loves chocolate.

Oh we will have candy for at least the rest of the month I'm sure! It's not so much that we buy a ton, we just tend to have a little and be done. Of course my kids do that better then me! lol

None left over for me. But that's because I had none to start with! NO easter eggs, no easter basket no chocolate rabbits. It's fine, so won't gain weight from over eating on chocolate. We've been cutting out commercialized traditions, and hoping when we have kids we can keep it that way.

No chocolate lasts very long in my house, but there is so much Easter candy on sale in the stores now, you can pick up extras to nibble on at half price. This is probably my favorite part of any holiday...the sales.

I try to stay out of the stores during the sales. I would just buy more that I don't need.

The problem with chocolate is we either really like it or really hate it.
