I have hypothyroidism, which sucks because I'm always cold, dizzy, moody, and have to bust my tail in major strides to drop any weight. Just curious if anyone else is dealing with this.

I have those symptoms and then some! I am in the process of getting diagnosed. My test is upcoming in about 9 days. I actually cannot wait. I want to get this taken care of it is complicating my life in every way. It is especially difficult on my kids. They don't understand why I have little energy and cannot play as much. Not to mention my schooling is really taking a toll.

I have it as a result of Hashimoto's Thyroid. It does stink, but usually with medication I feel ok, not always, but usually. If you're on a medication that your body responds to it makes a huge difference. Sometimes the wrong medication, even with good labs, can leave you feeling untreated. I've been through that before. Basically, the generic form of Synthroid stinks. Don't use it. If you are, try something else. Thyroid meds aren't all that expensive, so don't settle for generic in this area. I was on the generic for a few months and my labs came back great but all my hypo symptoms returned to the point that I couldn't get my butt off the couch, my voice grew hoarse, legs were very heavy, gained a lot of weight regardless of what diet I was on, and I delt with depression. Let me know if you have more questions about this.

Are you people taking meds for this? I think I may be but have not seen a doctor as of yet- I'm worried about what the results may be.
