I'm curious about how people view the people of wealth and fame. Or even folks throughout history. This is inspired by a discussion I answered recently, this isn't a rant, just some of my thoughts -- again lol. It seems like so many people care about these people's lives. I mean some of them ARE intresting. I like hearing about say, Johnny Depp..or..Claudio Snachez -- the singer of my favorite band. But it's not like I spend twenty-four seven trying to find out stuff about their lives..I'm not critisizing people who're obsessed with celebreties, mind..we all have our obsessions, right? But does it really matter what their sexuality is? Their style of clothes? Hair color? Zodiac sign? I care more about how their family life's doing. Or say..what they're doing for the enviroment -- like Green Day's Billy is trying to promote hybrid cars to help with our pollution problem. I mean the more important stuff -- I care if everyone's happy lol. It always somewhat saddens me if I hear someone's having problems with their family. And fighting for the enviroment is a noble thing. I mean okay, Freddie Mercury was gay -- that's a cool fact. I'm sorry he's dead now..but I really don't care that he was gay. He had a great voice -- that's why I like his music. End of story. I don't form my opinions on someone based on their hair color, clothes, sexuality, whether they were in that movie whatsitsname..it's kinda intresting and all, but I don't judge a book by its cover, you know? Some people just have the yuck factor no matter what you know or don't about them. I know that. I'm just say'n.. How about you guys though? Have you ever found out something about a celebrety you like that's ruined their art for you? Whether they're singers, authors, actors or actresses. Have a celebrety obsession? If so, with who? How do you view celebreties? Are you like me, showing a casual intrest occasionally but usually frankly don't care? Tell all. ^_^
