Do you have friends or family who are serving in Iraq?

Of course I do, but it comes with the territory of being a military spouse.

Not at the present moment, but my best friends family is all over there. Her whole family is military. My husband is in the Air Force, but we are lucky enough that he doesn't have a job that is needed in Iraq. Of course if he was told to go he would. We have a couple of navy friends in subs out there but not in Iraq. Good to see another military wife here. I am so scared of the day when my husband will have to go overseas. My husband wants to change careers to combat photography. He was training for SERE when he first when into the Air Force, but in training for it he injured both his knees so he is now in personnel in the Air Force reserves, mostly full time. He doesn't like it but I like having him in something he's not getting shot at. I'm still getting use to being military. It was so aweful when he was away from me for only 6 months and that was only in Lackland TX. I hope to get a little tougher soon.

I had a nephew that was over there for a year. He just came back home recently ~ safe and sound thank God. I pray for all of the men and women over there everyday. ~Remember to give out +'s when it's deserved & select best responses. It helps us all out ;-]
