What do you consider in choosing a Godparent?

I am just ccurious coz i observe in other people they tend to get lots of godparents and i am not even sure if those people are really close with the family. For me to have chosen one or two is the best for my kids already. One that i consider close to our family and one that i can trust and know that will really take care of my kids incase something bad happens God forbids.

I was really fortunate to have great godparents. They're like my second parents. There is no need to have more than one godparent if the one is caring, and commpassionate. I didn't exactly choose my gp, my parents did. They were always busy with work, so they would leave me with our neighbour which is my gp. I'm so glad my parents were busy.
