Nascar - Cool or Stupid?

I personally think that nascar is stupid, and is getting worse each year. Especially with teams in nascar now. How do you have teams in car racing. I don't get it. Then they talk about how some guy will block another and not win the race so his teammate can win. How stupid is that. Does everyone agree with me or do some of you like nascar?

Being from Australia i think Nascar is kinda stupid, i don't understand how people can watch cars go round & round in circles for hours on end. We have the big racing events here but they're on actual courses made for racing (Bathurst) or like the Clipsal 500 here in SA - where they shut down half the city & the cars get a city street track! Much more entertaining & with actual corners, there are more chances of good crashes! I'm not really in to the big V8's though. Of course you have teams - each team is supported by different companies, those companies get loads of publicity, as do the manufacturers of the car that team is with! Let's say if 1st & 3rd place are on the same team, & 3rd place is has the highest points in the competition - 1st place can hold off 2nd place to let 3rd come through & win which will give the winner top points & possibly take out the championship :) Make sense? I think the only Nascar i have actually enjoyed was about a week ago when we hired the movie Cars!!!

i personally dont like nascar. It just feels to "hickish" to me. Im personally a fan of f1 racing. I mean, those cars are multi million dollar machines! huge engines making 750 hp or 2.4 litre engines making 750 horsepower. which one is more impressive? oval track or or race course? Thats why i side with f1

i don't watch too much nascar. i understand a lot of people can find enjoyment from it, but i can't watch a TV screen for hours watching cars go in circle. i tried and got dizzy. but i will admit, those last few laps do get a bit exciting as the cars ACTUALLY begin to do some serious racing to get the top spots.
