what do you think of this phrase," to see is to believe?" i really dont know if i need still a proof to believe something or anything which somebody may impose on me to believe at..it depend maybe on the kind of situation that may arise..like for example a ghost or something supernatural..i have experience of seeing one although it was in a shadowy figure only of my grand dad who passed away that week..i cant see his face clearly but the rest of his body was clear..and another thing is that i believe in God although i havent seen him in person..

Yes i do believe on that phrase also..but some situations sometimes we cant relate it in seeing as believing..thats is when we are talking about our "Faith" to God.

I am one who believes this saying. There are a lot of people who don't believe in God for this reason - what's to believe if there's no proof? Not saying this is me but it's like something my partner's siblings have said. Both have a number of children at a young age & both have said they will have a vasectomy/historectomy once their current child is born - to that we all say, we'll believe that when they can show us proof of it - no-one believes it will happen coz there's too much tempation to keep having more with the government handing out $4000 for each child you have. I guess you're right, it does all depend on the situation but i would say, i am more likely to believe what someone has told me, if they have a way of proving it to me!
