What causes swelling during pregnancy? Alot of people say salty foods or standing on your feet too long. I didn't do either of those with my last pregnancy and I was so swollen people thought I was farther along then what I was. For this pregnancy I eat more salty foods and stand on my feet for longer periods of time and I'm still not swelling up like last time.

Yes, you are right about the salt and standing causing swelling. But also, swelling can be caused by sitting too long. Swelling can also be caused by excessive fluid in your tissues or fluid and or blood isn't circulating the way it needs to.
Before I go, please keep in mind; just like every child is different, so is every pregnancy.

They said it's because you don't have enough exercise and don't have enough Vitamin B.
