reality check: the high salary of an 35 yr older from the city isnt enough to travel europe unless one goes abroad. compared to others, we are still poor. so will you work abroad?

As for me I would love to stay here for my wife and my only son. But things are getting worse, the economy is not getting any better, good jobs are scarce, politics sucks, what can you say about our place. That's why me and my wife is slowly planning of going abroad someday. I have seen the dramatic change in my sister's life when they where here and now abroad. In here they were really poor even though they do have a good paying jobs. But since they have five children they have hard time earning and saving. But they were given the chance to go abroad because of the need for nurses there they were lucky to get the whole family go abroad. Within a year they were able to afford to buy a car and furnished their rented house. Now they looked comfortable compared to us here where before it looked liked we were the ones who was quite comfortable than them.

Definitely. I think working abroad is one of the best way to improve our lives. The minimum wage here is not even enough to make ends meet.

i am just in my early stage of career life, i have been working for only 1.5 years here in the philippines but i am really considering working abroad even for just one to two years... the fact is, i can earn my one year philippine salary in just 3-4 months when i work abroad... i am considering to get married and start a business someday and so far i think working abroad is the quickest way to earn my capital...

if there's a good opportuniy why not. and i would grab it as long as i don't have my own family yet. so, i would go as early as possible, i don't want leaving a husband and/or a baby just for money. so, before i settle down, i should have if not enough, almost enough or maybe more.

Very much yes. Yes, actually, as I see, you can have a brighter future there compared here. Just like my father, he is there for 17 years, and he was able to experienced the luxury of life and to think my father is just a high school graduate.

If I am not married and with two lovable children , I would have answered yes. But at this point of my life, I'd say NO, I am not going anywhere else without my family. Might say I'm impractictical, but I am happy with my family and I dont want my kids to grow without me on their side. I have lived my life without a father with us because he works outside our country. We may have all the material things most other kids dont have but I dont think its worth it. When i was just a kid, I used to say, "I'd rather have a dad than a Barbie Doll". I dont want my kids to feel the same.
