Alright, help me out here. I think I missed something, or did I? When they were walking through the woods, didn't Juliette say something to Jack about how she dragged Austin (kate) into the jungle, handcuffed herself to her and then lied about it? That means that Jack knows what is going on. But why? Why would Jack be in on this? What is Ben planning that has made Jack turn against his own people? Or is he just blind by his affection for Juliette? Or did I miss something entirely?

Juliette's explaination for doing that was because the others left her behind and she didn't want Kate to leave her behind either. I don't believe Jack is in on this. His comment about the look in Juliette's eye when the sub blew up was that she wanted off the island as bad as everyone else. He also said how that made her "one of us". Meaning the people on the beach. I'm not sure what Ben is up to. I don't have a clue on that one. I wonder if Juliette is feeling guilt pangs for what she's doing? After all she is going to end up betraying everyone in a week according to Ben's plan.

I doubt it. After all the Others would not have chosen her unless they made a psychological study of her. There would have been quite a number of people with her expertise and of those some with family members who had life threatening illnesses. So Ben chose her because he knew that she could be persuaded. You could have gotten a clue as to how easily she got in bed with Goodwin. If she had kept to herself, or there was an Other marriage ceremony, I could believe the guilt pangs --unless she forms an attachment to Jack You have to look at her whole facial expression to get a hint.

suspense, from what I understand, she is the only one who has ever impregnated a male mouse. So no, I don't believe that she was chosen because she was easily manipulated. She was chosen because of her abilities to do what they wanted her to do.

Jack's not in on it. He wants off the Island and is grasping at straws. Juliette was confessing to Jack about handcuffing herself because well Jack is a doctor and can easily figure it out for himself, sooner or later. I have no idea what Ben is planning. I am not a relative of the scriptwriters, I don't know any of the actors, but if you watched yesterday's episode, you might pick up a few hints. It might be something about continuing the pregnancies of the Other women without having the unborn be a danger to their mothers. (I wonder who wrote that pregnancy was a disease) and that would mean that one or the Survivors could have the knowledge, perhaps of the plant life -the atmosphere, etc. -the Island is in a time warp that affects sentient life, that gives polar bears highly involved intelligence, etc. But this is just speculation. Ben could be trying to get Jack to fx his spine so he can get out of the wheelchair. Yes you missed it.

Pregnancy is the one time that the female body will deny itself key vitamins and minerals and actually deplete the body for the baby. In some ways it is an invasion of sorts.

Ben is all about some life-changing mind games, isn't he!?! I would so take him out. But no, I don't think Jack is in on it. He just has a habit of falling for the wrong gals...

So you mean Jack is just a moron who keeps getting his a$$ handed to him by Ben? I can see that. Totally.

Whatever the motivation, I have to comment that the actress that plays Juliette, Elizabeth Mitchell, is a fantastic actress. She's from the Dallas area where I also live and I actually saw her in a play many moons ago. She's got that mature hotness about her that's really cool.

Yes, she is a great actress however she is going to be less believable as Mrs. Claus now in The Santa Clause 2 and probably 3.

I totally agree. She's got great talent and fits in well with the rest of the cast.

I don't believe Jack is in on it. At the end of the previous episode Juliette admitted that she dragged Kate into the jungle hoping to earn her trust because the other left her behind too. If Julliette were to survive on the island without the others she would need the help of the survivors. But they would be unwilling to help her because of her previous association.

I think she's just manipulating the survivors. But I also think she's going to double cross Ben. Just my thoughts.

I think Kate's love for Sawyer has completely upset Jack (who is truly in love with her) and now he is just out for himself. I think he's been "burned" and just wants the hell off the island. Juliette is a temporary Kate "replacement," but I think Jack is falling for her. I thought she had turned on the others- but did you see that look she gave when she turned away from Jack last night at the end of the episode?! Wow...

I'm not really sure it was every love for Kate or just infatuation. I mean his options on that island are few and far between. But you are right that he feels burned by kate. I think mostly because he has this deep rooted hatred for Sawyer.

I don't think you missed anything. I think they just added more confusion. So we know Juliette was taken there and held against her will, that she wants to go home, but she is also still planning with Ben against the survivors of the plane crash. I haven't a clue what their plan is. And what of the blowing up of the submarine? Did it really blow up or was that just something to convince Jack? And was Locke blown up in that submarine? What is for sure is that Juliette has gained Jack's trust, and now the rest of the group's after she saved Claire. But she still has an agenda and we'll just have to wait and see what it is. I think Jack is clueless because he said he never asked any questions, kept his head down, wanted them to trust him. Too bad Sawyer's niceness disappeared as soon as Jack returned. And it looks like Sun will lose her baby without Juliette's help.

I'm not convinced that John blew up the sub. He was wet when he was standing on the dock. Why would he be wet if the last place we saw him was inside the sub? I don't have an answer for what he may have done, it just looked a little suspiscious.

Jack is not in on it. I think you misunderstood it. They showed Juliette and Ben talking about everything and going over their plans and that was it. Jack wasn't there and doesn't have a clue about anything yet. Didn't you see the part where Ben and Juliette were talking about the whole plan? It was all a set up. I sure can't wait until next week. It's getting better and better.

Yeah I can't wait to see how this plays out. Does she double cross Ben? What's the final goal for having her infiltrate the camp? It should be intersting.
