Three months ago, by the start of the year, the Washington Wizards were seven games ahead of the Miami Heat in the Southeast Division, leading to speculations that the Wizards could easily win the division title. However, after somebody's seaon-threatening injury, and the return of another, things changed. Dwayne Wade's rehabilitation from a dislocated shoulder and the return of injury-prone Shaquille O'Neal proved to everyone that the Heat can still play championship caliber basketball after all. They proved that when got a much-needed winning streak, mixed with some struggles of the Wizards and the Orlando Magic, and in an instant, the Heat just got the Southeast lead away from D.C. It was for good now when Miami subdued Washington earlier, 85-82 as the Heat won the series over the Wizards, 3-1. With the loss, the Wizards (39-39), still without Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler, can only finish as high as sixth place, pitting up against third placers Toronto in a virtual playoff series.

The Heat have a good chance to repeat but I'm not sure if their old bodies will hold up during the playoffs. As you know the playoffs are a struggle and a marathon. Can the heat pull it off again with a 35 year old Shaq and a injured Dwayne Wayne. Watch out for Toronto and for Chicago. Everyone is writing them off because they're young but they have great talent and drive. I pick both to be spoilers. In the west, I'm Rockets fan but watch out for San Antonio and Denver. Of Course Dallas should be favored but anything can happen. See ya
