m son needs frriends

i need help i have tryed togetmy son some friends and told him to make fiends but he is to shy to talk to people so how can i get him not to be shy and make some friends, we moved from a small town where he had a lot of friends then moved here and he has 1 fiend but he is not happy here and i eally want him to be happy, i had to move cause where we did live i couldnt find a job, how do i get him to meet new friends?

When I was little I also had this kind of problem,it's really a hard time for me.I was kind of a loner but deep down in my heart I really want to communicate with others.That last for about 5 years really a painful time for me.So you really need to do something I believe you will finally make it.Good luck.

My first question would be, "how old is your son?" Second would be, "what are his interests?" get him involved in something that interests him and see what happens.

my son is 12 years old but is very immuture for his age and is very shy. he doesnt have many interest he likes to fish hunt and play the playstation oh and likes basketball. he wants to go out for the team in school next school year.

Well, basketball may be just waht he needs to find some friends. I have to say that I was painfully shy when I was a kid. I wouldn't talk to anyone and I wouldn't look at anyone. I managed to outgrow it and he likely will also. I know that you want to help him and that your heart asches for him but the best thing you can do, honesly, is just support himw and make sure that he knows you are there for him. If there is an arcade in town, perhaps you can take him there to shoot some hoops or play games. There are even some places that have gaming clubs that you might look into. Hope this helps.
