I just published my latest book. It's a cookbook called My Grandmother's Apron. The book is dedicated to my granmother who was such a part of my learning how to cook. Has anyone else written a cookbook and had it published? I'd like to know if you have. If you would like to read about the cookbook go to my website listed on my profile page. You can even order the cookbook from there. It's awesome!

My daughter published a cookbook last year called "Haunt Cuisine". Each receipe has a ghost story with it. She does ghost research - not exactly ghost busters but close! LOL It was quite a hit. Now she is writing a book about a haunted hotel in West Virginia. She enjoys the research. I've published poems and short stories but never had the perseverence to write a book. Good for you!

I love it! Good for your daughter. I do research too, although of a different nature. I do family research and genealogy. How interesting about your daughter. I love poetry too. Are your things online?

That is so cool. Congrats on being published. I love the title I learned to cook from my grandmother too. Those are memories that I'll have forever.

Grandmothers like that are THE BOMB! I wish everyone could have a grandmother like mine. She the epitome of what a 'lady' is. Thanks for the congrats. Memories like that just don't come easy.

I have not and I saw the Grandma's Apron on your profile. I am trolling for discussions since the email notification is not working for the last few days. Glad to have found yours. Cook books are grand things and if yours is of the old ways with some tips also it would be a grand thing to collect. I hope you have much luck with the sales!!

Thank you Willowlady. I not only enjoyed doing the research and having so many of my family recipes handed down, but I enjoy cooking them (the old ways) and tasting the difference between then and now. I'm very nostalgic. I also love eating the things I cook too. Maybe that's why I'm so healthy.
