Migratory birds respond to seasons and migrate accordingly. I have been studying the habitats of the Flamingoes in Kenya, East Africa. Flamingoes are elegant birds that seem to know only the shores of lake Naivasha as their migratory destination during the summers. But human influence around the lake coupled with rapid silting of this lake itself is soon going to end this millenia old migratory pattern. What will happen if the lake dries up? Shouldnt the World Nature Bodies save the flamingoes by revumping their habitats?
