Hi There!
I think I have a problam. I hate to lose! I mean, it's not that I get mad and started to throw things or something like that, it just make me feel really bad.
I play basketball and I also a big fan of different kind of sports. I like to watch soccer and basketball and whenever my team lose I get really upset and sad. I feel like someone hurt my dignity.
I take it really serious and sometimes I come back from a bad game and feel bad the all day after it.
How can I take it more easily? Can anybody give some good advices?
Thanks.

I don't hate losing.. but i would feel disappointed though.. many of us sure do..
but a friend taught me something that hit me deep..
"failure is the mother of success"
it is a direct translation of a chinese saying..
which means no one can and will win or be successful every single day or minute..
to fail and learn from why you fail is steps to success..
and also steps to appreciate your success even more..
hope this helps a bit.. good luck in whatever you do.. =

No problem, you're human. Some people have a more competetive nature than others so losing is a little harder on them than someone who isn't so competetive. I think it's a good thing. It makes you try harder and accomplish more in your life. So don't think of it as a bad thing.
I'm the same way, I have a very competetive nature and everything I do I try to be the best at it (or as close to best as I can get). I hold myself to much higher expectations than I do other people. I also tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. Sometimes I irritate people because nothing is ever good enough and I get pushy especially if they aren't trying to do their best. I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings but sometimes I have to watch myself and take a step back.
It's a good thing that you don't go overboard and get so upset that you throw things around.. I've known some people who look like they're losing their minds if they or their favorite team lose at a game. That's a bit much and very childish.
I'd say you're very normal.

Well I am not the best person to give you advice because of the fact that I hate to lose too. Not only in activity games but in card games and broad games. I get so upset when I lose like a child would do. But the best thing I could say to you is that Its only a game!
