Do you believe that people who have tvs in their bedrooms watch way more tv than those who don't. Is watching too much television bad for you? Do you let your child have a tv in their bedroom? Is the first thing your children do when they get home is turn on the tv? Do you think television is a partial reason for obesity? Is the world addicted to tv? I have noticed that since we put a tv in the bedroom, we spend a whole lot more time in the bed. What do you do?

i am so a tv person. i love love love tv. i mean i love tv. i have my shows that i must watch. i can lay around all weekend and not move from infront of the tv. i have come to learn that the only thing that causes people to become overweight is that they focus on being over weight, what you think you are you become. how powerful is that

here i go these are my answers to your question. 1.yes i do believe that the maximum number of people do watch more tv than the ones who do not have it in their bed rooms. 2.too much of anything is always bad so i would say that too much of television is bad. 3.i have no kids as yet ,but when i become a parent i will not let my children have a television in their rooms because they ll spend too much time watching it. 4.well as a kid i used to turn on the tv the first thing i reached home which my parents hated and scolded me badly for. 5.a big yes to the question that TV is partially responsible for obesity.people tend to get lazy in front of the idiot box. 6.yes,i think almost the whole world is addicted indeed. 7.well if the TV was in the bedroom it is natural for everyone to spend more time there watching the television.

I have a tv in my bedroom and I have only had it on twice in a month. It wasn't on but maybe half an hour at a time. I don't really like tv so much. I do think tv is a partial reason for obesity. Because when you are watching tv you tend to eat while doing so. Especially during movies. I think the world is most likely addicted to tv since a lot of people I know run their lives around the 8 o clock movie or their favortie tv show.

My husband and I have a tv in our bedroom. Neither one of us goes in there just for the sake of watching tv though. I watch the late news when I go to bed and sometimes an episode of Seinfeld. That's pretty much the only time we use i. As far as my daughter having one in her room, she doesn't. I didn't either when I was a kid. I don't want her having one because I don't want her to be getting lazy and staying in bed to watch tv instead of doing something else.

we have 2 tvs one is in my room and the other is in the camper. we use the one in the camper for when we go camping and it rains etc. the one in my room is used for us to watch. i watch maybe 1 hour of tv a day. usalyl i watch becker before i go to bed. now we put it in the bedroom so that the kids have to ask before they watch it and it is not on all the time. when it was in the living room we had a habbit of turning it on and watching it and things werent getting done. this way we know what our kids are watching cause we are in tehre with them. we do family movies and pile up in bed together with popcorn and have a blast. but yet it keeps us from watching so much of it.

i believe that people who have tvs in their bedrooms watch way more tv than those who don't. i think watching television is good for you but too much is bad if it interferes with your life, such as going to work or going to school. i dont have children. i think children who stay home too much is the reason for obesity, not just because they watch tv but tv contributes to the problem. if you think you are watching too much tv then you should put the tv somewhere other than your bedroom.

No, I do not think that having a tv in bed makes you watch more tv. I have one in my room. I like it because me and my husband can watch XXX movies in bed. It is fun. We don't really watch much else on our bedroom tv. And other than that, we only watch movies on tv. We are not addicted to tv. I do think that it may lead to obeisity though. Many people cannot get away from tv. I think this is wrong. Television is supposed to be for entertainment, not for continuous use. I do many other things then watch tv, like play with my children, clean house, love on my husband, and play on the computer. Actually, I think I spend way too much time here on mylot then anything else.

We have a tv in our room, and the baby has one in his room as well. Ours is on in the morning while my husband is getting ready for work so he can watch (or listen to if he's in the bathroom) the weather and news. That's usually the only time the TV is on in our room, though. Or occasionally when we have company that is sleeping in the living room, we use our TV so they can go to sleep before us. My baby is only 14 months old. He has a TV in his room, because it's the place that we play the most. He has cable, but we usually just watch movies, or Between the Lions. Sometimes I put it on Nick. He's getting where he likes to dance and sing, so we use it for that. I think a lot of people that watch a lot of TV tend to eat while watching, so that definitely contributes to obesity. Plus if you sit in front of the TV for several hours a day without doing anything else, you are going to gain weight because you aren't exercising. There are definitely a lot of people that are addicted to TV. I know that at my house there is a TV on the majority of the time, but really the baby watches maybe an hour if you add it all up, and like I said, he's dancing and playing the whole time anyway, so he's still exercising. I watch maybe 2 hours without him, and my husband does about the same, well besides the news in the morning that is. I don't really consider us addicted to TV. I've had a TV in my bedroom for as long as I can remember. Even when I was little I had a small TV in my room, but no cable. When I was around 12-13 I got my first bigger tv (19 inch) and cable. I've never been one to lay around and just watch, though.

watching tv while lying in bed is the ultimate form of relaxation for me. i don't like going to the movie theaters because i only appreciate movies whenever i'm lying in my bed. i wouldn't say that i am a tv addict because i only watch tv from 6:30 pm (the news) and two soaps until 10pm only.

I dont think that having a TV in the bedroom makes a difference to the person who is interested, rather addicted to TV. He will watch it even if its not in his bedroom. He just cant resist it. And yes i agree that the children of this generation are getting addicted to TV, very badly. Small children doo nothing apart from watching TV. They dont do any kind of physical activities. This is really harmful for the balanced growth of the child.

Nah, I've got a tv in my room and I barely use the thing. I spend more time in bed either sleeping or with a book in hand than I do in it watching the tv.

Having a TV in bedroom are also known to sore the relationship between husband and wife. I am not able to exactly recall, but there was a study done to prove this point. And even if we think logically, having a TV in bedroom would eat up a considerable amount of time husband and wife would otherwise have spent together.

I have always had a television in my bedroom and I don't spend any more time in there because of it. I prefer not watching television at all so it has not changed my habits as to watching TV. I only keep it in there because it helps me fall asleep at night and that's it.

We don't have a TV in our bedroom because we don't have space for it and also my husband goes to bed before me and wouldn't want me watching TV in there. We have a big screen TV in the living room and we both watch TV there. I think that people with a TV in the bedroom people are likely to watch more TV and also to stay up later.

TV is not a good thing for entertainment or education, internet is better than tv cause you can control the content. Even if their were an educational programm on tv for children {that would be good} they would get more out of the program only if you participated.
