Such a beautiful baby! And mama is absolutely gorgeous. I loved looking at those and reading about Fyrefly. My daughter, who is a major horse fanatic, fell in love at first sight. Thank you so much for posting that.

Mama was neglected and was given to the new owner because she was one of the few people that the mare seems to trust. Isn't it wonderful that such a beautiful animal now has a good home with someone that loves her.

me either! But your talking to someone that seen some crazy things. I've seen Animal Police so I see the neglect when I watch it.

Thank you for showing us the pictures of a beautiful baby horse. It's hard to believe that in 18 hours they can look so good, and can walk and even run. amazing.

What a beautiful horse!! My mother has two horses, and I love them both. I can't think of a single horse I didn't like...except for the one that bit me, a few years ago, but he was still a beautiful animal to look at. I love horses!

Thank you for sharing that link. It was a bit slow to load and I almost only looked at the first picture in the snow. Boy was I glad I waited - they are wonderful photos. I would probably have forgotten to take my camera or it would not have worked! Is that colour called skewbald? I prefer painted ones to just bays to look at but think greys are my favourite especially dappled.

Ya know, its been so long that I can't remember the differance. I do think she might be, but maybe not.... My personal obsession are the buckskins. My fav horse growning up at the stable was a golden buckskin with black legs & tail & a bald face.

Mom and baby are beautiful. There coats are very healthy looking. Baby looks strong. What does she do with her horses? I can't wait to get a horse again. I use to ride all the time. I did Hunter/Jumper. I use to own a grey thoroughbred named Peter Gunn. He passed away 5 yrs ago. I just love looking at other peoples horses and dream of getting one again. Thanks for the pictures

Ya know, Shawna, I'm not 100% sure what she does, this is a sister-in-law to a good friend who knows I'm crazy about horses. I used to ride hunter/jumper too, tho I have terrible balance & wasn't very good. I think I can safely say I pretty much made every mistake going over a jump but fall during it! And then in college I ended up teaching riding because there just wasn't anyone that knew as much (or had made as many mistakes) as I did riding English!
