spent the day suffering with a toothache, and i dislike dentists with a passion, so much so that the last 3 teeth i lost i pulled myself. the secret was severeing the nerve right away then pull. once you break the nerve theres no more pain. do you pull your own teeth? i'll bet not many do

I just saw your post, I see it's a few months old....now please explain, how do you know where the nerve is? Nope, can't say that I've pulled my own teeth out lol, though I've thought about it before-especially when I don't have insurance, like they ever cover much dental work anyway :) And, how can you be sure you're severing the right nerve? What if by some fluke chance, it ends up being a facial nerve or something, and you cut it, and lose feeling in part of your face? Granted, that's a long shot, but still a possibility....You are very brave :)

well to be completely honest when i pull my own teeth. like i did last night.my front lower teeth are deseased by pyrea handed down from my dad. i guess it's genetic. but when i pull them i have used everything from visegrips to guitar strings. as to the question how do i know i'm severing the right nerve? it's the one in the tooth that bothers me and thats the one i sever. today i can eat turkey without any pain. it's christmas and i got my wish . did you?
