Does anyone have any good dog food recipes?

I was wondering if anyone has any good dog food recipes, I am afraid to feed my dogs store-bought dog food. I was at Wal-Mart, two days ago, and they were still removing dog food. I don't want to take a chance on my dogs getting sick. Thanks in advance for any recipes.

here are some recipes i've search for you from the net.. allrecipes.com Lucky and Rippy's Favorite Dog Food INGREDIENTS * 3 pounds minced chicken meat * 2 1/2 cups frozen vegetable blend (no garlic or onions), minced * 4 cups rice * 6 1/2 cups water DIRECTIONS 1. Place chicken, vegetables, and rice into a large saucepan or Dutch oven. Stir in water until the mixture is smooth. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and all of the liquid has been absorbed, about 25 minutes. Cool completely before serving; store covered in the refrigerator. Dog Food Dip INGREDIENTS * 2 pounds lean ground beef * 1 onion, chopped * 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup * 1 pound processed cheese food, cubed * 1 (12 ounce) jar sliced jalapeno peppers, drained DIRECTIONS 1. Place lean ground beef and onion in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Cook until beef is evenly brown and onion is soft. Drain and turn heat to medium low. 2. Pour in condensed cream of mushroom soup. Mix in processed cheese food and desired amount of jalapeno peppers. Cook and stir until all ingredients are well blended, about 10 minutes. 3. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight. 4. Reheat the mixture in a slow cooker, mixing in about 1 tablespoon of water to thin if necessary, before serving. The Best Doggy Biscuits! INGREDIENTS * 2 cups whole wheat flour * 1 cup cornmeal * 1 tablespoon salt * 1/3 cup vegetable oil * 1 egg * 1 cup water DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet. 2. In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour, cornmeal and salt. Mix in the oil, egg and water to make a soft dough that is not too sticky. You may add more flour if needed. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. 3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until nicely browned and firm. Cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
