What touched your heart today?

I have been a nurse for a long time and have accepted the fact that our efforts are most often than not unappreciated. This morning I looked our board in the breakroom and saw a card that a former patient sent our unit. She was so appreciative and mentioned everyone's name and the thing that they did to her. that to me was remarkable. Things like that makes me remember why I wanted to be a nurse in the first place. How about you, did someone do something to touch your heart today? Share them with us.

We are dating with a few years of my girlfriend, but this is the first time she gives me a silver bracelet...for our anniversary. I really love her very much, and I knew that she loves me also, and she gave me that because I want to have it. I feel the love when she gave it to me.It makes my day memorable!

Yes ,certainly that was really nice of her.You seldom find people in this selfish world who turn back after there work is done,to thank somebody;and your profession is like a thankless job.You must have felt really nice.
I will tell you what happened several years ago with me.I was about 19 years of age and quite naive.I helped an old lady fill her form in a bank ,she had recently lost her husband and wanted to get her pension disbursed.She was very happy that I helped her.she had taken my adress that day and sent me a letter full of thanks.I was really touched that day ;I had not done something great,just helped a little .

Mi fanice called me just to tell me that he loved me. He has never done that before, it made me smile and made me feel like I was teenager again. :)
