I wanted to have a flawless fair skin, though i know that i do have one but i wanted to make it a bit whiter. My friends told me to use glutathione...Is it really effective? what are the side effects in drinking this kind of medicine? i need someone who will testify that it is really effective...what is the suggestive milligram in using it?

My bestfriend takes glutathione. Since she's now fairer than I am I'd say it does work. Before buying glutathione consult your doctor and consult somebody who knows about it. Like how many mg/capsule there is, what are the other contents. I don't understand it myself but my bestfriend does and it's what she asks about before buying one. Then she says that it's too expensive for the mg/capsule or it has a content which isn't good for the body. She's no doctor. But if I were going to buy one I would definitely take her along.

Glutathione is a water-soluble antioxidant complex made in the body and provided by the diet Glutathione is present in the diet in amounts usually less than 100 milligrams daily, and it does not emerge that much of the oral intake is absorbed from the intestine into the blood. Glutathione is not an essential nutrient since it can be synthesized from the amino acids L-cysteine, L-glutamate and glycine. The liver is the major site of glutathione synthesis. In healthy tissue, more than 90% of the total glutathione pool is in the reduced form and less than 10% exists in the disulfide form. The enzyme glutathione disulfide reeducate is the principal enzyme that maintains glutathione in its reduced form. What does Glutathione do? Glutathione is essential to keep the normal function of the immune system. It is known to play an important role in the multiplication of lymphocytes (the cells that mediate specific immunity), which occurs in the development of an effective immune reaction. Glutathione has three major roles in the immune system: Antioxidant (A cell's most important Antioxidant), Immune booster (A component of the Immune support) and Detoxifier (A Detoxifying agent in our body). The cells of the immune system produce many oxygen radicals as a result of their normal functioning, resulting in a need for higher concentrations of antioxidants than most cells. Glutathione plays an essential role in fulfilling this requirement. Glutathione also acts as a chelator to bind and conduct out of the body heavy metals that source the free radical damage.

Glutathione is a substance, the levels of which in your cells are predictive of how long we will live. There are very few other factors which are as predictive of our life expectancy as is our level of cellular glutathione. Glutathione has been called the master antioxidant, and regulates the actions of lesser antioxidants such as vitamin C, and vitamin E within the body. What is the recommended dose for Glutathione? As Anti-oxidant/ anti-aging: Standard dosage computation: 10mg per Kg BW (Body weight) per day. But as a SKIN WHITENER computation should be IN DOUBLE INCREASED DOSE 20-40mg/Kg BW per day in 2-3 divided dose. Duration: Medium brown skin : 1-3months Dark brown skin : 3-6months Very dark skin : 6-12 months Black skin : 2 years or more Upon reaching desired skin color, maintenance dose: 1 capsule 500mg once a day. Note: Vit. C should be taken 1-2 times more than the dose of Glutathione to keep Glutathione in its absorbable (reduced form) and at the same time release the power of Vit. C derivatives whitening properties.
