Do you wear a helmet while travelling on a bike

This is a very important safety issue.It is regarding wearing a helmet while driving or accompanying the driver of a two wheeler.It may be scooter or a motorcycle.In India there are numerous accidents happening daily and many are with two wheelers.Besides many accidents are pertaining to injuries to the head.The government in india has imposed rules pertaining to wearing of a helmet.But this rule is not hard and fast.Some states have this rule strictly strictly imposed but some states have not strictly imposed.For example I reside in Mumbai where this rule is imposed but not strictly.I too own a two wheeler but I use a helmet only when driving on a highway, but casually I do not.People here in Mumbai have a mixed opinion on wearing of helmets.Some say accidents can be worse by wearing a helmet and some say the opposite. Could you all give your views on this issue.

i do wear helmet when i go biking...its better to be safe than sorry.

here in the states..its very much enforced that when you use a bike to work or cross the main roads. anyone who is seen by the cops riding a bike without a helmet will get pulled over and will be issued a ticket.

I highly recommend wearing helmet for personal protection of the head when riding bicycle or motrcycle. I have seen several accidents and it was not a good sight for those who are badly injured.

I highly recommentd wearing of helmet while ridimg a bicycle or motorcycle especially for chilred. .I have seen many accidents and personnaly it wiil help the driver not to get hurt and protect his head in case of accidents.

Ya, Definitely, I wear helmet every time i am ona bike, traveling alone or with someone else. It's for your safety, you don't need to consider others openion for it. SO i just go for it. Also the Indian law already made it compulsory to wear helmet. So why thinking ?

In my country, this is a important problem. Although government had order that everyone drive two wheeler, have to wear helmet, somebody still break and make many accident everyday.
